Pizza Horns


  • 2 Loaves frozen bread dough
  • Olive oil
  • 14 oz Pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Oregano leaves, dried
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 lb. Grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Green pepper; minced
  • 3 oz Pepperoni; minced or chopped
  • 1 Egg white; lightly beaten Additional dried oregano Leaves
  • Additional Parmesan cheese

Preparation Method:

  • To thaw dough, refrigerate overnight or let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll each loaf into a 10-inch circle or stretch with your hands until 1/4 inch thick.
  • Brush surface with oil with a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut each circle into 8 triangular wedges.
  • Combine sauce, oregano, and garlic powder.
  • Spread on top of wedges, leaving about 1/4-inch margin on each side.
  • Sprinkle with cheese, green pepper, and pepperoni. Roll up each triangle beginning from wide end.
  • Curve ends to form crescents.
  • Place on lightly oiled baking sheets.
  • Brush tops with egg white. Sprinkle with additional oregano and parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 450 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
